- Accept full financial responsibility for the value of the football membership when signing up and paying via instalments. Full value of the football membership must be paid by the scheduled completion of instalments
Automatic Renewals
By purchasing any Penrith Panthers 2027 membership product(s), the Primary Account Holder acknowledges and agrees that their membership will automatically renew for the following season (the 2028 Season) unless the member opts out in accordance with this clause. This applies to all membership products and all payment methods (whether paid in full or by instalments).
The Club will provide the Primary Account Holder with at least 14 days’ written notice (by email to the email address registered on the Primary Account) prior to processing the automatic renewal. The Renewal Notice will include:
· the membership product to be renewed;
· the membership fee for the following season (or, if not yet finalised, the basis on which the fee will be calculated);
· the date on which the renewal payment will be processed;
· the deadline by which the member must opt out to avoid automatic renewal; and
· instructions on how to opt out.
A member may opt out of automatic renewal at any time prior to the opt-out deadline specified in the Renewal Notice by:
· emailing footy.membership@panthers.com.au; or
· logging into their Panthers Account Manager and selecting the ‘Opt Out’ button.
Opt-out requests will not be accepted verbally unless Panthers expressly confirms otherwise.
If a member opts out, their membership will not be renewed, and they will need to purchase a new membership for the following season if they wish to continue.
If the Primary Account Holder does not opt out by the deadline specified in the Renewal Notice, it will be deemed that the member has agreed to have their membership automatically renewed, and the membership fee for the following season will be charged to the payment method on file.
If a member’s membership is automatically renewed and the member wishes to cancel, the member may request a full refund of the renewal payment by contacting the Club in writing within 14 days of the renewal payment being processed. Refund requests received within this period will be actioned without question. Refund requests received after this 14-day period will be considered by the Club on a case-by-case basis.
Penrith Panthers reserves the right not to automatically renew a member’s membership for the following season. Communication of any such decision will be made with sufficient notice prior to the following season’s membership on-sale date.
Where the Club makes significant changes to membership packages for the following season (including but not limited to changes to venue, seating categories, or package inclusions), the Club will clearly outline these changes in the Renewal Notice. Members will have the opportunity to opt out if they do not wish to continue under the changed arrangements.
It is the responsibility of the Primary Account Holder to ensure that their payment details (including card number and expiry date) are kept up to date. If a renewal payment cannot be processed due to outdated or invalid payment details, the Club will attempt to contact the member. If payment cannot be collected within 14 days of the scheduled renewal date, the automatic renewal will lapse and the member will need to purchase a new membership.
