Yes. A Panthers membership is a great gift for family and friends.
Here's what to do if you do not wish to be involved with the membership after gifting it:
If you would like the gift recipient to take over the membership completely, we recommend entering their name and date of birth when purchasing the membership.
However, to keep the gift a surprise, we recommend entering your own email address, postal address and phone number. This is because a confirmation email will automatically be sent to the email address provided when the membership is purchased.
Once you have given the membership to the recipient, they should contact the Panthers Membership Team to update the account with their own contact details. This will ensure they receive all future membership communications.
Please note that gifted memberships are still eligible for automatic renewal. Once the gift has been received, you may also wish to update the payment details to the recipient's details if they will be responsible for future renewals.
Here is what to do if you wish to remain the Primary Account Holder:
If you would like to remain the Primary Account Holder after gifting the membership, enter your own details, including your name and date of birth, when purchasing the membership.
To ensure the membership card is issued in the gift recipient's name, you will need to contact the Membership team to have this changed.
As the Primary Account Holder, you will continue to receive membership correspondence, including information about automatic renewal. If you do not wish to continue the gifted membership into the following season, you will need to opt out before the applicable renewal deadline.
